Deedpro the professional services division of North American Deed Company, is a provider of Deed and other legal document preparation services to the nation's leading real estate, financial services, and title companies. Ascending Integration was contacted by Deedpro and tasked with helping them to improve their operations processes through the use of a fully customized order processing system and customer relationship manager.
The Problem:
Deedpro, was quickly growing out of its start up phase and turning into a multi-million dollar business. However, they were beginning to have difficulties managing their workflow with the predominately manual process that they had in place since their inception. Deedpro ran its business through the use of standard tools such as Outlook, Excel, QuickBooks and manual paper handling. This made it difficult to find client information efficiently, as well as keep them informed of their order status.
The Solution:
After consulting with Deedpro, Ascending Integration decided that it would be in their best interest to develop a custom system which would allow them to continue their rapid expansion. After completing systems analysis, development and testing, the solution was implemented and has been in use ever since. Some of the features of this application include:
- Customer online order entry
- Workflow management
- Document storage
- Automated notifications
- Accounting and payment tracking
The Results:
Since being implemented the DeedPro Order Processing System has been a major success. It has allowed their employees to more easily manage their business and focus on serving clients and continue with expanding their brand. Some of the greatest improvements have been:

uDeed, sister company of DeedPro, serves a wide range of retail customers with document preperation products.
Typical clients include timeshare owners, divorcees, owners of living trusts and many others looking to make changes
to deeds and titles or to transfer property. After Ascending Integration completed the DeedPro Order Processing System,
uDeed couldn't help but notice the huge benefits that it provided and asked to further customize the system for their needs.
The Problem:
Although the system, worked great for DeedPro and their specific processes, uDeed have very different workflows and special requirements.
Because of this, additional systems analysis and development had to be completed to ensure that the success of the DeedPro project was
duplicated for uDeed.
The Solution:
Ascending Integration decided the best solution was to expand the original Order Processing System, making it generic enough to handle both of the companies needs,
while including specific custom modules for each of the two. New features not originally included in the DeedPro system that were developed for uDeed include:
- Retail customer quoting features
- Additional workflow customization
- County recording managment
- Private label branding abilities
The Results:
The uDeed Order Processing System customization definetly had a few hiccups but in the end they couldn't be happier with their new custom system.
Tasks that were almost possible to manage and keep track of are now automated, allowing for the continued growth of the retail services business.
